Roulette Rules

Each player receives different colour chips to make it easy to identify which chips belong to which player.

The player places his bets and the dealer then spins the ball, once the dealer announces ‘No more bets’ no more chips may be placed or moved.

When the ball drops into the winning number the dealer removes all losing bets and proceeds to pay the winners.

There are a variety of bets to play on roulette and the player may play as many or as few as they wish.

Blackjack Rules

Blackjack is played against the dealer.

Each player receives 2 cards and the dealer one card.

From left to right, the players then have the opportunity to take more cards (draw) or stick with what they've got (stand) in an attempt to make a total to beat the dealers hand.

If the player has a total of 9,10 or 11 he may double the bet to receive one card only.

If the cards total exceeds 21 the player loses.

Each card counts at face value with Jacks, Queens and Kings counting as 10. Aces count as 1 or 11.

The best possible hand is a 'Blackjack' which is any ten or face card with an Ace and pays 3-2

When all players have finished playing their hand, the dealer must draw cards to a total of 17. If the dealers total is 16 or less he must draw another card. If the dealers total is 17 or more he must stand. If the players total is higher than the dealers total he wins even money. A total equal to the dealers hand ‘ties’.

Stud Poker Rules

Stud Poker is a 5 card, 'no-draw' poker game.

The game begins by the players placing a bet on the 'Ante' box. The dealer then shuffles one full pack of cards and deals five cards to each player face down and five to himself, with the last card dealt face up.

The players then pick up their cards and decide whether they think that their hand can beat the dealers. (The player has only to beat the dealer, it doesn't matter what cards other players have). Cards cannot be show to other players.

If the player decides that he can beat the dealer, he places an additional 'Raise' bet behind his ante, which needs to be exactly double his ante. If the player decides that the dealers hand will beat his own, then he can fold and forfeit the ante bet. Once all the players have either folded or doubled their bet, the dealer reveals his own cards. The dealers hand needs to hold an Ace and a King minimum in order to play; if the dealer does not have this minimum hand then the dealer pays even money to all of the ante bets regardless of what the players have in their hands. The Raise bet does not get paid in this instance.

If the dealer does have the minimum hand or higher and can play, he will then compare his hand to the players.

If the players hand is a lesser hand than the dealers, then the player will lose both the ante and the raise bet. If the players hand is better than the dealers, then he will be paid even money on the ante bet, and on the raise bet he will be paid according to the following odds:

One Pair or Less 1-1
Two Pairs 2-1
Three of A Kind 3 - 1
Straight 4 - 1
Flush 6 - 1
Full House 8 - 1
Four of A Kind 20 - 1
Straight Flush 50 - 1
Royal Flush 100 – 1

Craps (Dice) Rules

Craps is a dice based game where everyone is playing against the casino. To be able to roll the dice the shooter must make a line bet (pass or don't pass bet). The payout is even money. The shooters first roll is known as the 'come out roll'.

If the come out roll is a 7 or 11 the pass line wins and the don't pass loses. If the come out roll is a 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10 then that number is known as the shooters 'point'.

The shooter will keep rolling until one of two things happen - if they roll the number that they had to set the point the pass line bets win and the don't pass bets lose. If a 7 is rolled before the point number the pass line loses and the don't pass wins. Either way, the round is over. A new round always begins with the same shooter until he 'sevens out'.

The Big 6 & Big 8 bets
You are betting that 6 or 8 will be rolled before a 7. These win even money.

Field bets
You are betting that the next roll will be a 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11 or 12. These pay even money, except 2 or 12 pays 2 -1.

Place bets
If your point number comes up before a 7 you win, if a 7 comes up first you lose.

Hardway Bets
Making a hardway means to make the total of two dice on doubles. Eg, if you wanted to hit a hard 6 you would need to roll two threes. The payouts on these vary.

One Roll Bets
Bets placed on 'any craps' covers numbers 2, 3 & 12. The payout is 7-1. Bets placed on 3 or 11 pay 15-1. Bets on 2 or 12 pay 30-1, any 7 pays 4-1.

Horne bets
A one roll combination of craps (2, 3, 12) or 11 should you throw any one of these combinations on the next roll you win.
